Winter Affordability Program - Ontario
The new Ontario winter affordability program, is designed to help eligible low-income households in Ontario save on their electricity bills during the winter months. The program provides an assessment by a licensed contractor (for free), which can help customers save due to cold weather conditions.
In addition to the free assessment, the program also offers funding for energy-efficient upgrades such as insulation, weather-stripping, and caulking. Qualified homeowners can receive up to $5,000 in funding for these upgrades, which can help to reduce energy consumption and lower heating costs.
Another benefit of the program is the opportunity to exchange old, inefficient appliances for new, energy-efficient ones. Eligible households can receive a free fridge or freezer. This can help to reduce electricity consumption and lower energy bills over time.
To qualify for the Winter Fixed Price Program, households must meet certain income requirements and be customers of one of the participating electricity distributors in Ontario. Customers can apply for the program online or by contacting their electricity distributor directly.

LEGO® Speed Champions Lamborghini Countach
The LEGO® Speed Champions Lamborghini Countach (76908) building set is a fantastic addition to any Lego enthusiast's collection. With 262 pieces, this set is suitable for children aged 8 and over, although my 7 year old son was able to put it together with minimal assistance.
The Countach is an iconic vehicle, and this Lego set does a great job of capturing its sleek, sporty design. The finished product looks just like the real thing, with its red and black color scheme, distinctive angular body, and iconic gold rims. The attention to detail is impressive, with features like the Lamborghini logo and the "Countach" nameplate on the hood and sides.
The building process was enjoyable for my son, as the instructions were easy to follow and the pieces fit together well. The set comes with a range of different colored bricks and plates, as well as a few specialized pieces like the steering wheel and exhaust pipes. It took him about an hour and a half to complete the set, and he was proud of his accomplishment when he finished.
One of the things I appreciated about this set is that it's not too difficult, but it's not too easy either. It's a nice balance of challenging and enjoyable, and my son felt a sense of accomplishment when he finished building it. The set also comes with a few stickers, which add an extra level of realism to the finished product.
One thing I would have liked to see in this set is more minifigures. The set only comes with one minifigure, which is a bit disappointing considering the price. It would have been nice to have a driver and a passenger, or even just an extra driver.
Overall, I would rate the LEGO® Speed Champions Lamborghini Countach (76908) building set a 7 out of 10. It's a fun set that captures the iconic design of the Countach and provides an enjoyable building experience. The only downside is the lack of minifigures, which would have added an extra level of playability to the set. However, my son and I both enjoyed building and playing with the finished product, and I hope to continue opening and building more Lego Speed Champions sets in the future.
